Badger State Staffing is seeking an experienced Bindery Machine Operator for a full-time position based in the Fox Valley. As a Bindery Operator, you will be responsible for maintaining and operating bindery and mailing equipment to produce finished marketing materials such as brochures, catalogs, and posters. The ideal candidate will be mechanically inclined and able to follow job orders to ensure that products meet customer specifications.Primary Duties:Set up and operate bindery and mailing equipment such as guillotine cutters, folders, collators, saddle stitchers and mailing machineryRead and interpret job orders and run jobs according to instructionsComply with all quality procedures, company rules and regulationsTroubleshoot and fix problems that occur during the runMeet production expectationsPerform preventative maintenance of the equipmentMust be able to operate material handling equipment, such as hand truck, pallet jack & forklift.Strong mechanical aptitudeQualifications:At least two years of bindery operating experience combined with a strong mechanical aptitudeAbility to perform basic mathematical operations to include addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and reading a rulerCollaborative working style and able to work with a variety of personalities, across departmentsDemonstrated knowledge of the printing industry
