We are seeking a hands-on Trust Advisor with a strong underwriting mindset to help us drive profitable growth across our western territory. This role is ideal for a sales leader who thrives at the intersection of relationship management, risk evaluation and disciplined growth.
What Will You Do?
» Build and maintain strong relationships with independent agents, serving as both a sales partner and an underwriting resource
» Evaluate new business opportunities and competitive positioning with underwriting discipline to achieve sustainable growth
» Collaborate closely with underwriting departments to reinforce guidelines while applying sound judgement in the field
» Represent the company at industry events, agency visits, and regional marketing initiatives
» Provide underwriting insight and guidance during agent meetings, submissions and negotiations
» Review and recommend risks within assigned authority, escalating when appropriate
» Analyze regional production, loss trends, and market conditions to drive sales and underwriting decisions
» Guide agents towards better risk selection, data quality and submissions practices to improve outcomes for all parties
Job Requirements
» Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent education and work experience
» 8 years of Property & Casualty insurance industry experience
» Commercial lines experience preferred
» Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to build rapport quickly
» Strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills
» Ability to manage workload independently and effectively
» A confident decision maker with negotiation skills
» Good judgement, a great work ethic and highly self-motivated
» Regular travel in Las Vegas Metro area, some travel to Northern Nevada, possible overnight travel
