Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food service and hospitality, demonstrating excellent communication skills and a passion for guest relations. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction through attentive service and a welcoming atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests promptly with a friendly demeanor.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems.
- Provide menu recommendations and answer questions regarding food and drink options.
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely manner while ensuring presentation standards are met.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns promptly.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of orders.
- Process payments efficiently while maintaining proper cash handling procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and service stations.
- Uphold high standards of hospitality and customer service at all times.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Server or in a similar role within the restaurant or hospitality industry is preferred.
- Familiarity with host/host duties is beneficial.
- Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on guest relations and communication.
- Experience using POS systems (Aloha POS or Micros POS) is an advantage.
- Background in hotel services or guest services is a plus.
