POSITION TITLE: Shipping Associate

DEPARTMENT: Shipping Department (BBT)

JOB SUMMARY/SKILLS: Familiar with basic knowledge of mowers. Basic computer skills using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook software. The ability to stage materials from inbound, organizing, production, and shipments. Inspection of materials from receipt and before shipment for outgoing. Load outbound trucks/routes according to pick sheets. Physically inspect the product for quality before loading it onto trucks. Prioritize orders as needed before loading them onto trucks; position the trucks in the docks for loading. Retrieve any product necessary for the day from other warehouses or work areas. Must be able to effectively communicate, both orally and in writing, to all levels of the organization and lead by example. Adherence to work schedule and attendance policy. Restocking at the end of the shift and during it. The primary responsibilities will include loading and unloading warehouse materials, optimizing loads to ensure operational efficiency, and securing loads for transportation. Able to work O.T. as required based on business demands. The ability to come to work on time and consistently will be necessary for continued employment. A valid Bad Boy forklift certificate is required. Excellent hand-eye coordination with proficiency in operating technical machinery. Ability to work independently and may be asked to do other duties as assigned.
