Position Title: Warehouse Inventory Specialist

Position Summary

The Warehouse Inventory Specialist is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels, organizing warehouse materials, and supporting daily warehouse operations. This position ensures inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, receiving, and tracking materials while maintaining a safe and organized warehouse environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records and stock levels. 
• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials and shipments. 
• Perform routine cycle counts and inventory audits. 
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies. 
• Organize and store materials in designated warehouse locations. 
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and scanners as needed. 
• Maintain inventory transactions within the company inventory management system. 
• Pull, stage, and prepare materials for production or shipment. 
• Assist with shipping and receiving activities. 
• Ensure proper labeling, identification, and storage of inventory items. 
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment. 
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures. 
• Work closely with production, purchasing, and shipping departments to support operational needs. 

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse or inventory experience preferred. 
• Basic computer and data entry skills. 
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. 
• Ability to understand inventory systems and warehouse procedures. 
• Basic understanding of warehouse equipment and material handling processes. 
• Ability to operate forklifts or willingness to obtain certification. 
• Strong communication and teamwork skills. 
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic. 

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift. 
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly. 
• Ability to work in varying warehouse temperatures. 
• Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment. 

Work Environment

• Warehouse and manufacturing environment. 
• Exposure to moving equipment, machinery, and warehouse traffic. 
• Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
