Job Summary
Backyard Products is looking for a Maintenance Technician that will be responsible for all aspects of routine and emergency maintenance operations and repairs. This includes performing a wide range of routine, preventative, and other scheduled equipment maintenance tasks, as well as emergency repairs. Specific tasks include machine repairs, painting, welding, carpentry, equipment installations, electrical repairs, plumbing, and other tasks as required. The Maintenance Technician is also required to maintain detailed records of all maintenance operations.

Backyard Products is looking for a Maintenance Technician that will be responsible for all aspects of routine and emergency maintenance operations and repairs. This includes performing a wide range of routine, preventative, and other scheduled equipment maintenance tasks, as well as emergency repairs. Specific tasks include machine repairs, painting, welding, carpentry, equipment installations, electrical repairs, plumbing, and other tasks as required. The Maintenance Technician is also required to maintain detailed records of all maintenance operations.
Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of machine maintenance tasks and repairs as assigned.
- Help coordinate and maintain preventative maintenance machine schedules
- Promptly respond to, assess, and complete emergency machine repair requests.
- Able to communicate, and coordinate with outside suppliers on all machine repairs, parts, SOP's, and preventative maintenance activities.
- Monitor tool and supply inventory and assist in ordering replacements and replenishment.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, as well as company policies. Ensure all safety practices are followed.
- Document all routine and emergency maintenance and repairs. Ensure equipment uptime goals are met or exceeded.
- Perform various building maintenance tasks and repairs as assigned.
- 3-5 years of relevant maintenance technician experience
- Facilities and machine electrical maintenance and repair
- PLC Experience - troubleshooting, debug and repair
- High school diploma or equivalent required, Certification or Associates Degree highly preferred
- Ability to work in a fast pace manufacturing setting and be able to adapt to change.
- May be required to perform a range of physical tasks, indoors and outdoors, in a variety of weather conditions.
- Ability to comprehend and follow written and oral instructions.
- Motivation and discipline to accomplish tasks without direct supervision.
- Flexibility to work extended hours and weekends as needed to complete necessary maintenance tasks and emergency repairs.
Salary : $26 - $30
