What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounting Specialist position at Backyard Discovery?
This position is responsible for day-to-day operations with G/L, Reporting and Bank Reconciliations
Essential Functions
Ensure proper accounting treatment and completeness of and accuracy of all financial transactions.
Assist with daily functions in and accuracy of all financial transactions, and financial reporting.
Prepare required information and support for audit, tax and governmental requests.
Handle confidential and non-routine information.
Maintain Macola General Ledger.
Other Responsibilities as Requested
Facilitate good communication within the organization.
Interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization.
Communicate via memos, correspondence, reports, and other documents.
As needed, will assist with special projects.
Completes and performs other duties as may be assigned.

Education & Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related experience.
One or more years of Experience and Knowledge of basic accounting practices.
One or more years of experience with Data Entry.
