About Backslash Burger
Backslash Burger is a fast-casual smashburger restaurant in downtown Frederick specializing in half beef \ half bacon smashburgers.
We keep our menu focused so every item is done exceptionally well. Every burger is smashed to order, every station matters, and every team member is cross-trained throughout the restaurant.
We're looking for someone who enjoys working with urgency, takes pride in consistency, and wants to be part of a team that genuinely cares about making great food.
About the Position
We're primarily hiring for a Grill Cook, but every member of our kitchen team is trained on all stations, including:
- Grill
- Fry Station
- Bun Assembly
- Cashier / Front counter
- Prep
- Opening & Closing Procedures
Cross-training allows us to work as one team rather than a collection of individual stations.
No one is "just the grill cook."
What You'll Do
- Cook and smash burgers to our standards
- Execute orders accurately and efficiently
- Prepare fries, onion rings, and other fried items
- Assemble burgers with consistency and attention to detail
- Interact with guests at the front counter when needed
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation
- Work alongside your teammates to keep service moving
- Follow food safety and sanitation standards
