Responsibilities
- Manage parts inventory using inventory management systems and ERP platforms to ensure accurate stock levels and timely replenishment
- Coordinate procurement activities by sourcing OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) parts and accessories through negotiation with suppliers
- Oversee parts administration, including order entry, data entry, and maintaining detailed records of parts transactions
- Collaborate with internal teams on demand planning and pricing strategies to optimize supply chain efficiency
- Facilitate shipping & receiving processes, ensuring proper handling of equipment repair parts and automotive components
- Support automotive diagnostics and vehicle systems troubleshooting by providing technical knowledge to service technicians
- Maintain effective communication with suppliers to manage sourcing issues, part availability, and delivery schedules
- Assist in warehouse management tasks such as inventory control, storage organization, and equipment repair coordination
- Use CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) tools to track maintenance schedules and parts usage for equipment upkeep
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing parts inquiries promptly and professionally
Qualifications
- Proven experience in supply chain management, procurement management or logistics inventory management within an automotive or manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, vehicle systems, OEM parts sourcing, and automotive service processes
- Familiarity with inventory management systems, ERP platforms, order management systems, and CMMS tools
- Ability to negotiate effectively with suppliers to secure competitive pricing and favorable terms
- Mechanical knowledge related to automotive parts & accessories or equipment repair is highly desirable
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel for data entry and reporting purposes
- Experience with warehouse management practices such as shipping & receiving, inventory control, and parts administration
- Valid forklift certification or experience operating warehouse equipment preferred
- Excellent internal communication skills to coordinate across departments efficiently
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in data entry and inventory management tasks
