What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-Time Executive Assistant position at Backline Comedy Theatre?
Hello everyone! We’re looking to bring on a Part-Time Executive Assistant to help out at The Backline Comedy Theatre. Before we post this on hiring sites, we wanted to see if anyone in the community (or friends of friends) might be a great fit.
This is an in-person position in Omaha — about 6–10 hours a week, with flexible scheduling.
We're looking for someone who’s organized, reliable, and enjoys working in a creative/comedy environment. You don’t need every skill listed, but experience in any of these areas is a huge plus:
*Admin & organization (email, scheduling, notes, keeping projects moving)
*Marketing & show promotion (writing posts, updating events, social media help)
*Simple graphic design or video editing (Canva, Photoshop, reels, posters)
*Helping with theater-related tasks (show calendars, performer info, auditions, etc.)
Pay: $20–$25/hr, depending on experience and skill set.
