Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable individual to fill this position and be part of our team. This role involves engaging with clients in person, over the phone and by email. Training will be provided in the products we sell and service. Having abilities to speak additional languages beyond English is a plus, especially Spanish. The ideal candidate will need a working knowledge of Microsoft products and be familiar with online platforms for sales, specifically Shopify. Must be comfortable using Windows based computer and programs. After training must be able to assist customers in finding best options for needed backflow assemblies, or repair kit options and to explain troubleshooting tips to discover issues with the products. Must be able to move at a fast pace especially at the busiest time of year that is typically March - June. Must be able to lift minimum of 50 lbs. Must have a minimum of a high school degree. Plumbing licenses or experience desired. Also desired that candidate have or has had a backflow tester certification or experience overseeing a cross control program for a jurisdiction.
Responsibilities
- Assist walk in customers with purchases
- Process invoices and shipping labels
- Assist in providing quotes
- Maintain and develop customer relationships
- Assist in processing internet orders
- Assist in processing incoming inventory and maintaining inventory accuracy
- Be self starter and work independently with little to no supervision
- Calibrate and repair backflow test kits
- Assist in maintaining and updating Shopify online store platform
- Other duties as necessary
Experience
- Previous counter and phone sales/customer service desired
- Familiarity with backflow assemblies, testing equipment and testing assemblies desired
- Inventory management desired
- Able to successfully work with others in all assignments

Pay: From $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
