Responsibilities

• Ensure all dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized according to health standards.
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning to support chefs and kitchen staff.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including sweeping, mopping, trash disposal, and organizing supplies to uphold a safe and hygienic environment.
• Support catering and banquet events by helping with setup, breakdown, and bussing tables as needed.
• Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy periods and special events.
• Contribute to a positive team atmosphere by demonstrating hospitality-minded behavior and a proactive attitude.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required; eagerness to learn is valued.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting heavy trays or equipment.
• Knowledge of basic cleaning procedures and food safety standards.
• Familiarity with food preparation techniques such as bussing tables, basic cooking skills, or catering experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to maintain cleanliness and efficiency in the kitchen.
• Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting colleagues in fast-paced settings.
• Prior experience in banquet service or hotel culinary operations is advantageous but not mandatory.
