Bookkeeper Expectations

• Manage accounts payable, vendor invoice processing, and vendor payments.
• Manage accounts receivable, client invoice processing, and process payments & deposits.
• Maintaining proper Certificates of Insurance and W-9 documents for vendors.
• Bookkeeping and maintaining accurate records.
• Reconcile accounts and statements on a regular basis.
• Enter credit card entries as expenses.
• Provide administrative support as needed.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team depending on the needs of the company.
• Ability to keep organized by following our processes and staying on top of digital documentation.
• Collaborate with departments to resolve accounting issues and improve processes.
• While this job entails a lot of tactical duties, you will have the opportunity to advance with our company, and we will look to you for input, ideas and strategies as we grow

Bookkeeper Skills & Experience

We're flexible on the number of years of previous experience for this role. We highly favor talent and interest. Some candidates may see this list and feel discouraged because they don't match all the items. Please apply anyway: there's a good chance you're a better fit than you think you are.

• Proven experience as a bookkeeper/accountant (2 years a plus).
• Proficient with Quickbooks and Microsoft Excel (2 years a plus).
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and commitment to confidentiality.
• Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Tech savvy– all of our accounting and documenting is digital, so we are looking for someone who is proficient with technology.
