Back to Basics Behavioral Health Services provides Section 28 Rehabilitative and Community Services across Maine. Our one-on-one, in-home and community-based behavioral health services help families build the skills to support their child, and help children with developmental delays grow more independent in social skills, functional behavior, and daily living.

Reports To: Director of Hiring, Scheduling and Retention

Schedule
Evening orientation Monday–Thursday, 4:00–8:00 PM, on a continuous two-week cycle. Friday and weekday daytime hours are used for supervision coordination, ECGs, curriculum work, and client service.

Position Summary
The Supervision Lead protects our supervision compliance and helps lead the professional development that keeps direct care staff qualified and growing. You'll make sure every staff member has supervision scheduled, held, and documented every month, and you'll deliver most of the agency's professional development.

What You'll Do

Supervision Scheduling and Compliance

• Schedule monthly supervision for every applicable staff member.
• Maintain a master supervision calendar and real-time compliance tracker.
• Escalate missed, at-risk, or unscheduled supervision to the appropriate Supervisor or Program Manager after the 15th of each month.
• Verify supervision documentation is complete and stored correctly for MaineCare audit readiness.

Evening Orientation Delivery

• Deliver the evening orientation track: Week 1 covers applied skills content; the same cohort returns Week 2 to complete online modules.
• Run approximately two evening cohorts per month.
• Use the Week 2 proctoring window for supervision tracking, documentation checks, and status reporting while staying available to trainees.

ECG Delivery

• Deliver most ECGs agency-wide.
• Build and publish the monthly ECG calendar in advance.
• Track attendance and credit toward individual supervision requirements.
• Coordinate topic coverage with the Orientation Lead.

Curriculum Development

• Develop and revise ECG and professional development curriculum.
• Align content to Section 28 requirements, field skill gaps, and quality trends.
• Partner with the Orientation Lead on orientation curriculum.

Direct Client Service

• Provide 6 hours per week of direct client service in the home.

Cross-Training and Coverage

• Achieve and maintain competency in the Orientation Lead and Compliance Lead roles.
• Provide full coverage for either role during absence, surge, or vacancy.

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Human Services or a related field meeting MaineCare Section 28 staff qualifications.
• 2 years of experience (Bachelor's) or 1 year (Master's) delivering Section 28 or comparable behavioral health services.
• Group facilitation and curriculum design experience.
• Strong scheduling and tracking skills across a large, distributed staff.
• Current CPR/First Aid and BHP Certification, or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel to homes and community settings.
• Ability to pass all required background checks and credentialing.

100% supervision compliance, every month, with no scramble at month-end.

Pay: $27.00 - $28.00 per hour
