Service Dispatcher Description
The Service Dispatcher will schedule the work flow through the shop in such a way as to maintain the shops maximum capacity and profitability, ensuring proper repair order documentation (IE: technician time, parts, etc) and reporting any discrepancies to the Service Manager. The Dispatcher is also responsible for maintaining appropriate OSHA compliance in the shop and for reporting potential hazards or violations to the Service Manager and the Human Resource Department.
Qualifications:The ideal Dispatcher is organized and able to multi-task and follow directions from the Management Team, focusing on multiple repair scenarios simultaneously.
They should be a good communicator, both in person and on the phone and should be able to write effectively in email communications, letters or other documents.
Our company uses many different technologies and our Dispatchers are expected to be comfortable with and make use of all of the programs that we use including CDK, Drive Centric, Rapid Recon, Microsoft 365 (IE: Word and Excel) and Teams as well as various Manufacturer websites.
This position requires a valid driver license and acceptable records check.
