Duties
- Meet with families in their homes, to provide education and connections to community resources to strengthen and empower families.**
- Assist parents in developing effective parenting skills and strategies.**
- Educate parents on physical and emotional child development.**
- Implement curriculum based programs that focus on the importance of raising children in a warm, trusting and caring household.**
- Maintain accurate records of interactions and progress made by families.**
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.**
- One year of Experience working with children and families, IE: child care provider, parent, daycare worker, preschool educator.**
- Knowledge of child development and willingness to learn about community resources.**
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.**
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism.**
- Writing and computer skills sufficient to communicate with staff and clients.**
- Valid driver's license, proof of insurance and reliable transportation.**
