Babst, Calland, Clements and Zomnir, P.C. is seeking a mid-level Litigation Associate (3–5 years’
experience) to join its growing Washington, DC office. This role will support a dynamic litigation
team focused on environmental and regulatory matters.
Our litigation practice is led by seasoned trial lawyers, including several former DOJ attorneys,
and works closely with a deep bench of regulatory and environmental attorneys advising clients in
energy, technology, manufacturing, and other highly regulated industries. This integrated approach
allows us to deliver sophisticated, practical solutions to our clients’ most challenging disputes.
Babst Calland is nationally recognized for its litigation, environmental, and energy practices. The
team is currently handling several cutting-edge cases in the energy sector, and the successful
candidate will have the opportunity to play a meaningful role in those matters.
Qualifications:
• 3–5 years of litigation experience.
• Strong academic credentials.
• Excellent legal research and writing skills.
• Strong oral advocacy skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with a client-focused approach.
• Judicial clerkship experience preferred.
• Admitted in Washington, DC, or eligible to waive into the DC Bar.
Salary will be commensurate with experience. Any offer of employment is contingent on satisfactory
