The Background We're Looking For
We are specifically seeking engineers whose qualification and certification experience has been with the parts, components or electronic equipment themselves before those products are approved for installation or use on an aircraft.
Candidates should be able to discuss specific aerospace products or equipment they have taken through DO-160 environmental qualification, including determining applicable test requirements and categories, preparing test plans and test articles, coordinating laboratory testing, reviewing results, resolving failures and documenting compliance.
Experience primarily involving aircraft modifications, STCs, installation approvals, fleet airworthiness, EWIS or aircraft-level conformity after equipment has been installed is not the target for this position.
U.S. citizenship or U.S. lawful permanent residency (Green Card) is required. Candidates working under OPT, CPT, H-1B or other temporary work authorization cannot be considered.
