Position Summary
Carolina Furniture Installations is seeking dependable, detail-oriented Commercial Furniture Installers to join our growing team. As an Installer, you will work alongside a professional installation crew to deliver, assemble, and install commercial furniture in offices, healthcare facilities, schools, and other business environments.
Our installers represent the company on every job site. We are looking for individuals who take pride in quality workmanship, work well with others, and understand the importance of professionalism and customer service.
Responsibilities
- Work as part of an installation crew to install commercial office furniture and related products.
- Assemble desks, workstations, conference tables, seating, shelving, and other furniture according to manufacturer specifications.
- Safely load, unload, transport, and position furniture at customer locations.
- Read installation drawings, floor plans, and work orders.
- Ensure installations are accurate, level, secure, and completed with exceptional attention to detail.
- Protect customer property and maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Communicate effectively with crew leaders and project managers throughout the installation process.
- Follow all company safety procedures and job site requirements.
- Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude while representing Carolina Furniture Installations.
Qualifications
- Previous furniture assembly, installation, construction, carpentry, or related experience preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand and power tools.
- Must own and maintain a basic set of installation tools.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds and perform physical work throughout the day.
- Comfortable working on ladders and in active commercial job sites.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred.
