Furniture Installer / Installation Technician
The primary purpose of this role is to support the delivery, assembly, and installation of commercial office furniture and workplace solutions. Key Responsibilities
- Assemble and install office furniture, fixtures, and related workplace products
- Load and unload materials, tools, and furniture safely and efficiently
- Inspect products for accuracy and quality prior to installation
- Prepare job sites before installation and ensure clean-up is completed afterward
- Read delivery paperwork, product labels, installation drawings, and layout specifications
- Maintain professional communication with customers, coworkers, and project teams
- Follow company safety standards, dress code expectations, and installation procedures
- Use problem-solving skills and initiative while working both independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Previous experience in furniture installation, construction, moving, or other hands-on mechanical work preferred
- Experience with systems office furniture is a plus, but not required
- Ability to interpret blueprints, floor plans, and installation instructions
- Must own or be able to obtain a complete basic tool set
- Ability to frequently lift, move, and carry up to 80 lbs
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record required
- Positive attitude, dependable attendance, and customer-focused mindset
