Senior Infrastructure Engineer - zOS Mainframe

About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer - zOS Mainframe. In this role, you will: Lead or participate in high level technical concepts spanning technology and business Develop specifications for complex infrastructure systems, design and test solutions Contribute to the testing of business, application and technical infrastructure requirements Drive solutions to reduce recovery Review and analyze solutions for cloud security, secrets management and key rotations Design, code, test, debug and document programs using Agile development practices Design complex system upgrades Resolve troublesome trends as they develop Develop a long range plan designed to resolve problems and prevent them from recurring Direct the daily risk and control flow of operations, focusing on policies, procedures and work standards to ensure success Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals. Required Qualifications: 4 years of Technology Infrastructure Engineering and Solutions experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education 4 years of zOS mainframe experience 4 years of installing Mainframe system software 4 years knowledge of Rexx, Assembler, or Python Desired Qualifications: 4 years knowledge of Unix System Services environment AI automation and integration experience Experience with DevOps pipeline tools such as IDz, DBB, Wasi deploy, Github, Artifactory Working knowledge of infrastructure products from the IBM, Broadcom, and BMC tool suites Experience with SMP/e installations. Job Expectations: Responsible for installing mainframe system software and keeping them at current levels. 24x7 oncall support Compliance activities such as patching, monitoring, and reporting Change control process with ServiceNow and JIRA ticketing This position offers a hybrid work schedule This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Pay Range Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location.
