Job Title: Desktop Support Specialist L2
Location: Northborough MA, West Ruxbury MA
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Level 2 technical support for factory systems, equipment, and end users.
- Perform installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of computers, servers, and network devices.
- Support and maintain factory floor IT systems to ensure operational continuity.
- Conduct daily system checks for hardware, server, and network performance.
- Monitor and resolve incidents involving network connectivity, VPNs, switches, and wireless access points.
- Maintain accurate inventory of IT hardware and software assets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical and operational issues.
- Provide occasional after-hours or on-call support for production-critical systems.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent, plus 5 years of relevant IT support experience, OR
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or related field, with 3 years of hands-on experience.
- Strong technical knowledge of Windows OS, servers, networks, and Active Directory.
- Experience with hardware repair, imaging, and system upgrades.
- Familiarity with data backup, software licensing, and security compliance practices.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
