B Safe Security is looking for an experienced Service Technician in our Toms River, NJ branch.
Position Summary: The ideal candidate will have experience installing, servicing, and inspecting fire, burglar, access control, and CCTV systems.
Duties & Responsibilities:
· Installation, service, and inspection of security alarms and associated low voltage systems
· System testing and inspecting to the prescribed standards
· Make connections and required adjustments as directed; test operation of all components of each system to the signal-receiving center
· Provide on-site emergency troubleshooting and repairs of customers security equipment
· Preparing accurate and timely service tickets and reports
· Ensuring a high level of customer service, satisfaction, and communication
· Maintains a clean and safe work environment on and off site
· Interface successfully with Administration, Sales, Customers, and Management
· Ability to use a variety of hand tools
· Perform other duties as required
Education & Required Skills:
· High School Diploma / GED
· 2 years of experience required
· Familiarity with one or more of the following product lines; Honeywell, DSC, Napco, Hikvision, 3xlogic, CDVI, Speco, Firelite, Silent Knight, DMP preferred
· Ability to install, inspect, or service security alarms
· Must have experience in installation or servicing of security cameras, CCTV, access control
· Basic computer knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Must read and speak English
· Must be responsible, self-motivated, self-starter, personable and well organized
· Must have clean driving record and a valid Driver's License
Experience:
· Required: 2 years of experience in installations, service, and / or inspections
· NICET Certification, or NJ State Burglar and Fire License preferred but not required
