B&P Machine is a growing precision manufacturing company in West Newfield, Maine. We manufacture laminated flexible bus bars for the electrical industry.
We are looking for a dependable, self-motivated individual who enjoys staying busy and takes pride in producing quality work. This is a hands-on manufacturing position where you will work independently and be an important part of our production team.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret engineering prints and work instructions. Read a tape measure accurately. Cut raw material to specified lengths. Score and remove insulation according to engineering prints. Measure and inspect parts to ensure they meet specifications. Maintain production speed while producing high-quality work.
- Work independently with minimal supervision. Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe.
- Qualifications
- Ability to read engineering prints is required.
- Must accurately read a tape measure.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Self-motivated, dependable, and quality focused.
- Manufacturing, machine shop, woodworking, cabinetmaking, or other precision production experience is preferred
