B LUXE Cleaning is a locally owned, woman-owned cleaning business serving Burlington and the surrounding Chittenden County area. We provide thoughtful, detailed cleaning services that help our clients feel comfortable and confident in their homes. We are hiring employees and are looking for someone who shares our commitment to quality, dependability, and respectful client service.

This is not a high-volume, rush-through-the-house cleaning position. The right person will take pride in noticing the details, following through on commitments, and leaving each client’s home genuinely clean and cared for.

You will initially work directly alongside the owner and receive hands-on training in B LUXE Cleaning’s service expectations and cleaning methods. As your skills and confidence develop, you may gradually take responsibility for assigned cleaning tasks and client homes.

Position Details:

Position: Residential Cleaning Professional

Employment Type: Part-time employee

Schedule: Approximately 15–25 hours per week to start

Typical Hours: Weekday daytime hours

Service Area: Burlington and surrounding Chittenden County communities

Starting Pay: $22–$26 per hour, based on experience and demonstrated ability

Growth Opportunity: Additional hours and responsibilities may become available as the business grows

Primary Responsibilities:

Perform detailed recurring residential cleaning services. Assist with deep cleans, move-in and move-out cleaning, and post-renovation cleaning. Follow B LUXE Cleaning’s cleaning sequence, client instructions, and quality standards. Clean kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living spaces, floors, surfaces, fixtures, and other assigned areas. Use and care for cleaning products, supplies, and equipment properly. Arrive on time and prepared for each scheduled client. Treat clients, homes, belongings, pets, and personal information with care and respect. Communicate promptly about any concerns, scheduling issues, damaged items, or unexpected conditions in a client’s home. Complete a final walkthrough to make sure assigned work meets B LUXE Cleaning standards. Represent the business in a professional, friendly, and dependable manner.

The Right Person Will Be Meticulous and attentive to detail. Dependable, punctual, and consistent. Honest and trustworthy. Comfortable working in clients’ private homes. Ability to quickly pivot to meet business and client needs. Respectful of confidential and personal information. Willing to learn and accept constructive feedback. Able to follow an established cleaning method without cutting corners. Comfortable working both alongside the owner and independently after training. Able to manage time while maintaining quality. Friendly and professional without being intrusive in a client’s home.

Previous professional cleaning experience is helpful but not required.

Reliability, integrity, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn matter more than years of cleaning experience.

Position Requirements:

Reliable transportation to client locations. Valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance. Dependable phone and ability to receive scheduling communications. Ability to safely use common household cleaning products and equipment. Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, kneel, climb stairs, and remain physically active for several hours. Ability to lift and carry approximately 25–30 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation. Willingness to provide professional references. Employment may be contingent upon a satisfactory background and reference check.
