Video Editor - B&H Creators

B&H Creators is seeking a highly skilled, fast-paced Video Editor specializing in social-first content and podcast production to help scale one of the most exciting creator communities in the industry.

This role is ideal for someone who deeply understands social media storytelling, short-form performance, and audience retention — while also being capable of producing polished long-form podcast episodes and multi-platform content packages. You will be responsible for editing high-volume, scroll-stopping content across TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and full podcast/video episodes, helping shape the voice and visual identity of B&H Creators.

We’re looking for someone who can move quickly, think creatively, understand platform nuance, and turn raw footage into compelling content that drives reach, engagement, and brand growth — while also being a hands-on team player who can support live event execution, production setup, and on-the-ground creative operations.

Key Responsibilities

Video Editing & Content Production

* Edit high-performing short-form social content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and emerging platforms.

* Edit and package full-length podcast episodes, including multi-camera cuts, audio cleanup, pacing, branded graphics, and promotional assets.

* Create teaser clips, social cutdowns, trailers, and platform-specific edits from podcast and event footage.

* Develop engaging hooks, captions, pacing, and visual storytelling strategies optimized for retention and shareability.

* Incorporate motion graphics, subtitles, sound design, and trend-aware editing styles.

* Organize and manage large volumes of footage across events, interviews, creator collaborations, and podcast shoots.

Event Production & On-Site Support

* Assist with creator event buildouts, including basic production setup, staging support, gear prep, signage placement, and content capture logistics.

* Support live event execution through hands-on production assistance, troubleshooting, and creative problem-solving on-site.

* Help capture behind-the-scenes content, creator moments, and social assets during events as needed.

* Collaborate with the broader team on event-day operational needs to ensure seamless content and production workflows.

* Be comfortable working in fast-paced live environments where flexibility, speed, and teamwork are essential.

Creative Strategy

* Collaborate with the B&H Creators team on content ideation, recurring series, and campaign execution.

* Stay ahead of social trends, platform updates, creator editing styles, and emerging best practices.

* Help identify opportunities to maximize one shoot into multiple content outputs.

* Contribute to the evolution of B&H Creators’ visual identity and content strategy.

Operational Excellence

* Manage post-production timelines in a fast-moving environment with quick turnaround expectations.

* Maintain organized project files, templates, and asset libraries.

* Collaborate cross-functionally with social, marketing, events, sponsors, and creator partners.

* Travel regularly to support events, activations, and creator experiences throughout the year.

Qualifications

Required:

* 3 years of professional video editing experience, with a strong focus on social media and/or podcast editing.

* Expert proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro (required).

* Strong skills in Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, and audio cleanup workflows.

* Proven experience editing for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube, and social-first platforms.

* Deep understanding of pacing, storytelling, audience retention, and viral content structure.

* Experience editing multi-camera podcast or interview content.

* Ability to work quickly under deadlines without sacrificing quality.

* Strong organizational and communication skills.

* Comfortable supporting physical event production, setup, and live content environments.

* Portfolio showcasing both short-form social edits and long-form/podcast work.

Preferred:

* Experience in creator economy, media, events, or entertainment.

* Knowledge of cameras, creator gear, and production equipment sold by B&H is a major plus.

* Familiarity with YouTube optimization, thumbnail strategy, and social analytics.

* Experience with live events, experiential marketing, or production buildouts.

* Driver’s license and ability to travel regularly.
