Purpose

Serve as a liaison between the Service department and our customers. Consistently maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by providing timely responses to a variety of customer repair and parts requests. This individual will interface and communicate effectively with all internal and external service customers.

Essential Job Functions

• Provide quotes to internal and external customers
• Create and maintain quote log and individual quote files
• Utilize current repair quotes cost estimating system.
• Coordinate and schedule through dispatch the timely implementation of approved customer quotations
• Ensure that all labor and material costs are correctly included in estimates
• Gain and utilize a knowledge of subcontractor and HVAC supplier contacts
• Assist the accounting team with accurate repair quote costs for billing
• Communicate clearly with all groups within the Service Department
• Compile and issue installation, operation and owners’ manuals from suppliers when required
• Update the Service Manager on a weekly basis
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, Associate’s Degree is preferred, or combination of equivalent education and related experience
• 2-3 years of experience as a Service Writer or related HVAC Service experience
• Experience in the construction industry preferred
• Proficient in MS Office and other required software applications
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to interact with customers and vendors in a professional manner
• Ability to multi-task in a changing environment
• Self-motivated, ability to perform tasks with little or no direction
• Excellent time management and organizational skills

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
