- Configure CNC equipment: import/edit programs, set tools, define offsets and zeros.
- Execute complex machining per work orders and prints: cutting, drilling, milling, boring, broaching.
- Validate quality from the start: perform first‑run and in‑process inspections with precision measurement tools for 100% spec compliance.
- Maintain a spotless, organized, and safe area; follow safety procedures and PPE practices.
- Communicate status, obstacles, and improvement ideas with supervisors and peers.
- Advance continuous improvement to boost throughput and quality.
- 3 years setting up and operating CNC machines.
- Fluency in machining principles, blueprint reading, and quality control.
- Applied math skills (geometry/trig) for accurate set‑ups and measurements.
- Offset adjustments and practical troubleshooting ability.
- Safety and quality mindset.
- Formal CNC or technical training.
- Hands‑on with G‑Code; familiarity with Mastercam and/or ESPRIT.
- Experience across multiple CNC machine types.
- Manufacturing floor with required PPE.
- Lift/move and handle materials up to 70 lbs.
- Frequent standing, bending, and reaching during the shift.
- Proficiency: CAD software; Blueprint Reading.
- Machines/technologies: CAD software.
