Classification: Non-exempt
Schedule: 10-hour shift, Monday-Thursday.
Job Summary: A Powder Coat Painter will powder coat paint a variety of surfaces including, Steel, Aluminum, and other shop coated metal, uncoated metal, finished hardware, accessories and other surfaces as specified.
Responsibilities: you will be responsible for preparing metal for the powder application process including hanging, washing, plugging, scrubbing, taping, and sanding of parts and bodies.
Skills: Knowledge of oven and wash bay procedures, maintenance, and operations. Report problems to supervisor. A good eye for quality issues. Ongoing training for powder application processes that may change. Able to change nozzles within the wash system, dump and refill stages as needed. Cleaning knowledge to keep area clean and tidy. Preforms all other duties as required.
Physical requirements: Must be able to lift 50 pounds. Must be self-motivated. Must have excellent communication skills and attention to detail and quality. Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
