What are the responsibilities and job description for the Seasonal General Associate position at B.F. Clyde’s Cider Mill?
As a General Associate at Clyde's, you'll be one of the first people our customers meet. We're looking for friendly, dependable, and energetic team members who enjoy working with people and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
No two days are exactly the same! Our team works together across several areas of the business, so flexibility and a willingness to learn are important. You may assist in different positions throughout the season depending on business needs.
This is a seasonal position beginning the last week of August and ending in early December 2026.
Weekend availability is strongly preferred.
Full-time and part-time positions are available!
Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist customers with a positive, friendly attitude.
- Process customer purchases accurately using our point-of-sale system.
- Handle cash, credit cards, and other forms of payment.
- Keep your register and surrounding work area clean, organized, and stocked.
- Answer customer questions and provide information about our products.
- Assist with restocking merchandise and carrying items weighing 25 pounds or more.
- Perform routine cleaning throughout your shift and at closing to maintain a clean, safe environment.
- Work in different areas of the business as needed and support your teammates during busy periods.
- Help create a welcoming, energetic atmosphere.
Qualifications
- Friendly, reliable, and eager to learn.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Able to stand for extended periods and lift 25 pounds or more.
- Available from late August 2026 through early December 2026.
- Previous customer service experience is a plus, but not required. We're happy to train the right person.
