What are the responsibilities and job description for the Laborer position at B.F. Clyde’s Cider Mill?
As a General Laborer at Clyde's, you'll help keep our seasonal operation running smoothly through a variety of hands-on tasks both indoors and outdoors. We're looking for hardworking, dependable team members who enjoy physical work and take pride in getting the job done.
This is a seasonal position beginning mid August and ending in early December 2026.
Responsibilities
- Assist with cider production, including preparation, cleanup, and other production-related tasks.
- Lift, move, and organize boxes of cider, wine, merchandise, and other products for storage and shipment.
- Help maintain a clean, safe work environment by picking up trash and performing general grounds maintenance.
- Assist with loading, unloading, stocking, and other tasks as needed.
- Operate equipment safely after receiving appropriate training.
- Perform other general labor duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding work.
- Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Previous experience operating machinery, including forklifts, is a plus, but not required.
