Local CDL-A Truck Driver – Dedicated Intermodal
About the Position
We are hiring Local CDL-A Drivers for a Dedicated Intermodal account based out of Troutdale, OR. Whether you are experienced or recently got your CDL-A, this position is open for you. This is a home daily position featuring mostly short-haul local routes with strong earning potential and a generous bonus structure.
Pay & Compensation
- $0.65 CPM $22 per stop on all loads
- Average $44 per load
- Average weekly earnings: $1,400 – $1,800/week
- Weekly mileage: 1,000 – 1,500 miles
- $5,000 Bonus — paid in increments of $750 every 50 customer deliveries/pickups
- HAZMAT endorsement reimbursement available (receipt required)
Schedule & Home Time
- Home daily
- Shifts: Day/Night, Sun–Thu, Tue–Sat
- Weekend work required
- Holidays: optional
The Route
- 90% of loads are under 50 miles
- Local freight in the Portland and Salem area
- Occasional Walmart freight runs to Hermiston, OR and Grandview, WA (about 1 per week)
- Occasional crossings into Washington (drop and yard pulls only — drivers still home daily)
- Load types: Drop and Hook, Live Load, Live Unload, Preload
- No driver assist loads
Requirements
- Valid CDL-A
- Minimum 6 months experience (Trainees also welcome)
- Must live within 25 miles of zip code 97060 (Troutdale, OR)
- No owner operators
