Turn lived experience into lasting impact. As an Employment Peer Mentor, you’ll use your personal recovery and employment journey to inspire and support individuals with mental health and/or substance use challenges as they pursue competitive employment.
In this role, you will:
- Provide peer support, encouragement, and hope
- Assist with job searches, interviews, and workplace adjustment
- Model recovery-focused thinking and the value of employment
- Work closely with IPS Employment Support Professionals and clinical teams
Qualifications:
- NC Certified Peer Support Specialist (CPSS)
- High School Diploma or GED
- Previous CPSS experience recommended
