Ziegler offers creative, tailored solutions to its senior living clientele, including investment banking, financial risk management, merger and acquisition services, seed capital, FHA/HUD, capital and strategic planning as well as senior living research, education, and communication.POSITION OVERVIEWZiegler is actively seeking an Analyst to join the Not-for-profit Senior Living Team. The Analyst will be responsible for providing analytical work in support of new business development and transaction execution, and for assisting senior bankers in the development and delivery of value-added investment banking products and services to senior living clients and prospects on the West Coast. The Analyst should expect some client exposure and will develop complex debt modeling skills, learn the senior living industry both from a credit and strategy perspective, and build client communication skills. In addition, given the firm's belief in staffing deals with smaller teams, this role will have daily contact with senior bankers. This position will be based in either Scottsdale, AZ or Seattle, WA with a preference to Scottsdale, AZ.The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:Performing various types of financial analysis and financial modeling for prospective and live transactions; Assisting in the development and production of proposals and presentations to clients and prospects; Industry and business research; Interacting with members of corporate management teams and with other professionals such as developers, architects, marketing and sales firms, and feasibility consultants;Perform financial, business and market analysis with a special emphasis on spreadsheet analysis of financial statements and benchmarking key performance metrics; andOther responsibilities and projects as assigned.Professional qualificationsThe Senior Living Analyst will possess the following:A BA/BS with demonstrated coursework in finance, economics, accounting, mathematics or related subjects (or analytical work experience in lieu of such coursework).
