Job Summary
B Bistro Bakery is looking for a friendly, energetic, and attentive Server to join our hospitality team. We are a welcoming neighborhood bistro with a loyal community of regular guests who visit us daily. We are looking for someone who enjoys building relationships with customers, delivering personalized service, and creating a warm, inviting atmosphere.
This position is primarily morning shifts, with weekend availability required. The ideal candidate is bilingual in English and Spanish, has a positive attitude, and is passionate about providing outstanding customer service.
Schedule & Requirements
- Morning shifts only.
- Open availability within our morning operating hours.
- Weekend availability is required.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Previous serving experience preferred.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional.
Responsibilities
- Welcome guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service.
- Build positive relationships with regular customers and recognize their preferences.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining presentation standards.
- Be knowledgeable about menu items, ingredients, and daily specials.
- Recommend menu items and beverages to enhance the guest experience.
- Process payments accurately using the POS system.
- Maintain clean and organized dining areas, including bussing and resetting tables.
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen and front-of-house team to ensure smooth service.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and restaurant service standards.
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous experience as a Server in a restaurant, café, or bistro preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Familiarity with Toast POS or similar restaurant POS systems is a plus.
- Strong multitasking, time management, and organizational skills.
- A friendly, guest-focused attitude and attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation: $11.98 per hour plus tips.
