Primary Objective of Position

To provide service to ensure the client satisfaction.

Essential Functions

• Understands the service procedures of the outlet and ensures that they are properly followed at all times.
• Ensures that guests receive the courtesies required at all stages, from the welcoming, through service and until their departure from the outlet.
• Knows all the food and beverage items on the menu including their ingredients, preparation and presentation.
• Is aware of the special events, promotions, and any kind of information related to the outlet.
• Uses suggestive selling and up-selling techniques to enhance guest satisfaction and generate profit.
• Gathers and communicates feedback from guests on food, service and atmosphere and communicate them to the reception.
• Is in charge of setting up tables and checking the mise-en place before operation time.
• Is responsible for the cleanliness and orderliness of the station assigned to him, at the beginning and at the end of his shift.
• Is responsible for the cleanliness of the service station and the availability and condition of silverware, glassware, chinaware, condiments, ashtrays, toothpicks, napkins, coasters, etc
• Coaches, trains and works in close collaboration with the runner/commis waiter.
• Attends briefings and training sessions as scheduled.
• Performs related duties and special projects as assigned.

Physical Demands

• This position requires long hours of standing, walking, bending, and squatting.
• It is a must that this person is physically able to lift and carry up to 20 pounds or more.
• This position may require you to work in adverse weather conditions like rain, cold and the summer heat
• Must be able to work all shifts including, AM's, PM's, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years experience as server.
• Ability to work with large groups of people. Observant, highly flexible individual with a positive and creative outlook is preferred for this continually evolving position.
