Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Dispatcher to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in coordinating the movement of freight and ensuring timely deliveries. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
This position will be Monday - Friday and work remotely every other weekend.
Duties
- Coordinate and schedule shipments, ensuring timely dispatch of freight.
- Maintain accurate records through data entry and manage logistics documentation. Proficiency in Excel is a must.
- Communicate effectively with drivers and customers while demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
- Monitor shipment progress and address any issues that may arise during transit.
- Provide support in troubleshooting logistical challenges as they occur.
Requirements
- Proven experience in dispatching or logistics is preferred, but not required.
- Strong data entry skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work under pressure while managing multiple priorities effectively.
- Proficient in using phone systems with a focus on professional phone etiquette.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations is preferred, but not required.
Pay: $700.00 - $900.00 per week
