The Role: Human Resources Assistant
As our HR Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring our newest team members have a seamless start to their career. Working out of our Liberty, MO Corporate Office, you will be the engine behind our onboarding excellence and a key support for our management teams across the circuit.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Champion the Onboarding Process: Review and finalize new hire documentation for accuracy and compliance, including SSN verification, E-Verify, and I-9s.
- Data Integrity & Reporting: Manage employee records, track certifications, and generate essential reports using Excel, Dynamics, and HR software.
- Employee Support: Assist current and former team members with direct deposit changes and W-2 retrieval.
- Payroll & Verification: Support bi-weekly payroll processing and complete Employment Verification requests accurately and timely.
- Collaborate: Communicate daily with theatre management teams and support the corporate Human Resources team.
What We’re Looking For:
We are seeking a candidate who balances technical skills with a positive, "can-do" attitude.
- Experience: Up to 1 year of HR exposure is required, though 1-2 years in an administrative or HR support role is strongly preferred.
- Software Savvy: Functional knowledge of HRIS/payroll software (experience with Paycom is highly valued!) and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Teams, Outlook, and Excel).
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal skills with the ability to handle sensitive data with strict confidentiality.
- Education: High School diploma required; an Associate degree in HR/Business or an HR certification (aPHR, PHR, or SHRM-CP) is a plus.
- Presence: This is an on-site, full-time position at our Liberty corporate office.
- Flexibility: During high hiring seasons, must be flexible to work Saturdays as needed.
