Core Responsibilities
- Co‑lead daily operations with the GM: scheduling, managing resources, and driving execution of theatre initiatives.
- Hire, train & develop team members in both food & beverage and entertainment settings, fostering growth and performance consistency.
- Oversee inventory & amenities, including concessions, and promotional events in collaboration with marketing.
- Enforce quality, safety, and cleanliness standards across the facility.
- Cultivate a positive culture, using strong communication and mediation to resolve staff and guest challenges professionally.
- Support systems and record‑keeping activities: licensing, scheduling, employee files, and compliance with company policies.
- Hands‑on leadership: Selling tickets, staffing the snack bar, assisting in auditorium operations—everything from front‑of‑house to PM close‑out.
- Represent management during evenings, weekends, and select holidays as availability demands.
What We’re Looking For
Essential Experience:
- Minimum 2 years in entertainment-based environments—movie theatres, live events, or similar—preferably in a leadership capacity.
Leadership & Skills:
- Proven supervisory or assistant manager experience in customer-centric, high-volume settings.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making under pressure.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-mediation capabilities.
- Comfortable with POS systems, scheduling tools, and basic computer proficiency.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and occasional holiday hours as needed.
