About the Position
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Photographer to provide professional photography services for military events at Fort Sill, OK. The ideal candidate will have experience capturing high-quality images in dynamic environments and possess a strong understanding of military protocols and event coverage.
Responsibilities:
- Photograph official military ceremonies, graduations, training exercises, and special events.
- Ensure all images meet quality standards and adhere to military guidelines.
- Edit and deliver photos promptly in required formats for internal and external use.
- Coordinate with event organizers and Public Affairs teams to capture essential moments.
- Maintain and care for photography equipment and ensure readiness for assignments.
Qualifications:
- Experience as a professional photographer.
- Familiarity with event photography and working in structured environments.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong knowledge of photo editing software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom).
- Must be able to obtain base access and comply with all security requirements.
- Preferred: Prior experience supporting military or government events.
Security Requirements:
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- Minimum: Ability to obtain base access.
- Background check and fingerprinting will be conducted prior to onboarding.
Additional Requirements
- Ability to lift and transport photography equipment.
- Flexible schedule to accommodate evening or weekend events.
