Description
Employee will communicate with Production Manager(s) to help facilitate communication with customer service to give completion dates and also track expedited orders.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Reads and interpret written work order instructions and specifications
- Evaluate current dispatch and stage machines accordingly
- Determine location to set critical deburr jobs based on dispatch work dates and/or due dates
- Perform material handling safety procedures
- Verify accuracy of job/workmanship when performing job
- Maintain specifications by observing operations
- Adhere to all quality assurance procedures and processes
- Miscellaneous tasks as assigned
Qualifications
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of one year experience in an aerospace/aircraft machine shop setting
- Experience with ERP system preferred.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
- Familiar with safety standards and PPE utilized in a manufacturing setting
- Must have reliable transportation and work overtime as needed
- Ability to read, write and understand English
- Ability to understand capacity charts and level load work centers
- Excel and Word software experience
- Ability to stay on task with minimal supervision
- Problem solving skills a must
- Strong communication skills and a good eye to detail
