What are the responsibilities and job description for the CMM Programmer position at B&B Airparts, Inc.?
Responsible for CMM, CMM arms, and Laser Tracker programming.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create CMM/CMM arm/Tracker programs from customer supplied engineering
- Add GD&T callouts to programs to assist inspectors.
- Work with QC inspectors to troubleshoot programs
- Communicates with QC inspectors, Programming, Engineering
- Train and troubleshoot CMM, Arm, and Tracker use.
- Miscellaneous tasks as assigned
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of 5 years experience in an aerospace/aircraft or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years Quality Inspection aerospace/aircraft or equivalent
- 2 years working with CMM/Arms/Tracker for inspections
- GD&T Tolerance
- Create and Load programs for inspection
- Verisurf exp is a plus
REQUIREMENTS:
- Proficient with Engineering drawings/models
- Computer literate
- Understanding of GD&T Tolerance
- Working knowledge of CATIA and or CAD/CAM software
- Use of a CMM/Arm/Tracker
- Understanding AS9100/QMS
