DESCRIPTION:
Responsible for the deburring and trimming of sheet metal aluminum parts per Customers engineering drawings and specifications.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform visual inspection of manufactured parts and traveler
- Confirm material specifications as given on traveler
- Verify accuracy of job and workmanship when performing jobs
- Adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes
- Maintain specifications by troubleshooting processes and detecting malfunctions
- Verify profile, pilot holes and cutouts are clean of scratches and burrs
- Operate assigned hand tools such as die grinders to ensure accuracy of parts
- Accomplish organization goals by accepting ownership for all new and different requests
- Explore opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
- Meet production goals in terms of cycle time, quantity, and quality
- Miscellaneous tasks as assigned
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum two years experience in deburr, scribe and/or trim in a manufacturing setting
- Ability to read blueprints and decipher drawings
REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs.
- Familiar with safety standards and PPE utilized in a manufacturing setting
- Must have reliable transportation and be able to work overtime when needed
- Ability to read, write and understand English
- Proficient in blue print reading
- Knowledge of hand tools and precision measuring tools, such as calipers, height gages and radius gage sets
- Ability to stay on task with minimal supervision
- Strong communication and problem solving skills
- Detail oriented
