Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the requests assigned are completed correctly and in a timely manner. This role requires a basic knowledge of household maintenance issues and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. This position will require the applicant to have a vehicle and current driver license, auto insurance, basic tools and supplies.
Duties
- Conduct repairs and/or services requested by tenants or managers
- Perform repairs and maintenance on time and correctly according to the request
- Troubleshoot and resolve problems effectively.
- Execute plumbing, drywall, painting, mowing and cleaning tasks as needed for repairs or modifications.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
- Provide customer service support by addressing tenant or client concerns regarding maintenance issues.
- Document maintenance activities when needed and provide tenant signatures for completed work
- Submit completed work orders daily
- Assist with residential painting and other facility improvement projects as required.
Skills
- Proficient in drywall and painting experience and some mechanical knowledge related to various systems.
- Familiarity with basic plumbing and repairs to pipes, drains& toilets
- Strong ability to work unsupervised and follow instructions implicitly
- Experience in facilities maintenance with a focus on preventative measures.
- Ability to perform tasks safely and effectively.
- Excellent customer service skills to interact positively with clients and team members..
- The ability to learn from others, accept critiques and grow the skillset
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
