Travel Nurse - RN - Operating Room

Role: Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) for a travel assignment.

Responsibilities Include

• Preparing and maintaining the sterile field and surgical equipment.
• Assisting in patient positioning and ensuring safety and comfort.
• Monitoring patient condition during procedures and documenting care.
• Handling surgical instruments, supplies, and specimen transport.
• Collaborating with surgical teams to ensure compliance with protocols and safety standards.
• Participating in room turnover and infection control practices.
• Providing thorough perioperative patient care and communication.
  
  

Qualifications And Skills

• One year of recent OR RN experience.
• Valid RN license per state regulations.
• Current BLS certification; ACLS, PALS, or ENPC preferred.
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Physical ability to move and handle equipment, effective visual and motor skills.
