Role: Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
Responsibilities include: providing direct patient care under supervision of a Speech/Language Pathologist, assisting in developing and implementing therapy for speech, language, voice, fluency, and hearing, documenting patient progress, planning therapy tailored to individual capabilities, and communicating with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
Additional duties involve serving as a receptionist and clerical support, managing schedules, maintaining clinic organization, and ensuring proper documentation and supplies.
Qualifications: Active SLPA license in the practice state, with a preferred bachelor’s degree in Speech Language Pathology and Communication Disorders. Must have effective communication skills, visual acuity, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
