Key Responsibilities
- Assess patient conditions, develop and implement individualized care plans, document care, and evaluate outcomes.
- Welcome patients, promote a safe environment, and supervise direct care staff.
- Coordinate with departments for admissions, transfers, and discharges, ensuring thorough communication.
- Interact with patients, families, and healthcare providers to gather data and participate in interdisciplinary planning.
- Contribute to department goals, participate in quality improvement, and assist in staff training and orientation.
- Attend training, serve as a resource for staff and students, and explain policies and procedures.
- Supervise patient care activities, manage staffing within budget, and utilize supplies efficiently.
- Current Illinois RN license and CPR certification.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Preferred: psychiatric experience, knowledge of abnormal psychology, and understanding of therapeutic systems.
- Certification in CPI within 90 days of hire.
