Role: Procedural Support Assistant
Responsibilities: Provide patient support and information before, during, and after procedures; assist proceduralists; manage specimen and biopsy orders; obtain vital signs; ensure room readiness and cleanliness; support patient care, transport patients, and anticipate patient needs; report postoperative information and manage supplies.
Qualifications: High school diploma or GED; at least one year of patient care or customer service experience; ability to adapt to unpredictable situations; computer proficiency; current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills; ability to remain calm under stress and handle emotional situations with empathy; flexibility and willingness to adjust schedules.
Certifications: BLS required; additional specialty certifications as needed.
Other Details: Nonexempt role, full-time schedule, 80 hours per pay period, daytime shifts, no weekends, competitive hourly pay, and benefits eligibility.
