Med Care Manager

Role Overview

The Medication Aide/Med Tech is responsible for administering medications and treatments safely, accurately, and with dignity to residents in a senior living environment.

Key Duties Include

• Following physician orders and the Six Rights of Medication Administration
• Documenting medication administration in MAR/TAR accurately and promptly
• Monitoring residents during and after medication passes
• Observing symptoms, reporting concerns, and administering medications for symptom relief
• Completing narcotic counts and maintaining clean, organized medication carts and rooms
• Adhering to infection control and safety standards
  
  

Qualifications And Skills Required

• High School Diploma or GED; age 18
• Medication Administration certification
• CPR and First Aid certifications
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• Experience in senior care preferred
  
  

This role plays a vital part in preventing medication errors, early health change detection, and ensuring resident safety through attention to detail and regulatory compliance.
