We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide high-quality patient care on a neurology unit.
Responsibilities Include
- Utilizing the nursing process to deliver patient care under supervision or direction of a licensed RN
- Monitoring patients with moderate to high acuity, including neurological assessments and managing complex conditions such as stroke, seizures, and traumatic brain injury
- Assisting with mobility, fall prevention, medication management, and swallowing precautions
- Coordinating care with multidisciplinary teams and maintaining patient rights and confidentiality
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program or equivalent experience with successful licensure
- Necessary certifications include Basic Life Support (BLS) and LPN-IV certification (or completion within specified timeframes)
- Current LPN license in the state of practice and physical ability to perform duties, including lifting and moving patients
